Post-Acquisition Integration Project Manager
Main mission
Coordinate and oversee the operational, financial, human resources, and technological integration of entities (as applicable) following a merger or acquisition in order to achieve the anticipated synergies, minimize risks, adjust/transform the organization as needed, and ensure business continuity.
Key Responsabilities
- Define the integration roadmap and lead project governance.
- Oversee cross-functional projects (HR, finance, IT, operations, purchasing).
- Quantify and monitor synergies; implement action plans.
- Manage stakeholders and communication with sponsors.
- Identify integration risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Support change management and talent retention.
Key deliverables
- Integration roadmap with milestones; quantified synergy plan.
- RACI by project; KPI dashboards and governance reporting.
- Communication and change management plans; risk register.
Required functional profile
All interim executive profiles at CODIR level may be required to lead a project of this nature, sometimes in tandem. The choice will be made according to the dominant characteristics of the project, particularly in terms of (illustrative list):
- Main functional scope concerned: is it an integration of IT systems, financial functions, industrial units, supply chain,or the overall project, etc.?
- Expected results and nature of the main challenges: solid HR experience will be particularly sought after if the objective is to consolidate organizations with a significant human impact in terms of workforce or change management.
- Complexity of project governance with management of very diverse and/or "remote" stakeholders... A transitional CEO/COO profile may be sought.
